Vevey will be part of the Riviera Noël adventure in 2026 ⭐️

The Christmas Market at Place du Marché will be temporarily suspended due to construction work on the square; however, the city will remain fully involved in the regional program thanks to the Village de Noël at Place Scanavin, which will host several one-time events and activities as part of Riviera Noël. Supported by the Riviera Noël Foundation, these initiatives demonstrate a commitment to continuing the development of Vevey’s winter offerings while preparing for the future.
Vevey Riviera Noël will be in full swing in Vevey in 2026 thanks to the Village de Noël on Place Scanavin, which will once again welcome visitors and residents in a festive and warm atmosphere.
Following a second highly successful edition on Place du Marché, the organizers have decided to temporarily suspend – for the 2026 edition only -the Christmas Market as it was held in 2024 and 2025.
This decision comes amid the unique circumstances of the major construction work currently underway at Place du Marché. Despite exploring various alternative solutions, the constraints imposed by the construction site make it impossible to envision a layout that would guarantee the public, exhibitors, and partners the warm, immersive, and high-quality experience that defines Vevey Riviera Noël.
Looking Ahead to 2027
The Vevey Riviera Noël team is already looking ahead to 2027 with the goal of returning to the Place du Marché under optimal conditions and continuing to enhance the quality of the event.
With this in mind, discussions are currently underway with municipal authorities to define a medium-term vision that will enable the sustainable consolidation of the logistical, human, and financial resources necessary for an event of this scale.
